Yvonne “Bonnie” Garcia, President

Bonnie will tell you that when Market Vision began, the agency consisted essentially of “three Latinas and a telephone.”

In the almost 10 years since Market Vision opened its doors in San Antonio, Bonnie has expanded the business into a multi-million dollar company with offices in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles. The agency’s client roster includes The Coca-Cola Company, Miller Brewing Company, Fisher-Price, ACH Foods, Inc., General Mills and Continental Airlines.

How did she get here from there? Hard work, lots of marketing experience and a vision of what a Hispanic marketing agency should be.

Bonnie established Market Vision after 22 years in corporate marketing, including 15 years directing corporate Hispanic marketing and field marketing for Coca-Cola USA and Stroh Brewery. Considered a pioneer in the field of ethnic marketing, she began her career in the early 1980s when most companies had only just begun to acknowledge the importance of emerging consumer segments. During her tenure in Corporate America, she implemented innovative consumer programs targeting Hispanic, African American and youth segments.

A native of San Antonio, Bonnie has a Bachelor of Science degree in radio/TV/film from the University of Texas at Austin. She was named Hispanic Business Magazine’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” in the “Latina” category in 2006.
